New Rat City #1 is in stores now

A brief and very newsy-newsletter today:

Issue #1 of New Rat City is now available in comic shops! Look for it on the new release shelf at your local shop, or order a physical or digital copy directly from Scout Comics (they’ve got the main cover, by George and DC, and a great variant cover by Ralf Singh).

If you’re in Colorado I’ll be doing a few signings at some local shops here soon! Sightings have also been reported across NYC, and in shops in Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Maryland, and New Jersey. Here’s the book in the wild (photo taken by my mother at Midtown Comics at 8 am yesterday):

The series is being released as a ‘Non-Stop’ from Scout, which means the whole story will be released as a trade paperback soon.

I’ve also got more upcoming work in 2000 AD: Prog 2300 will have a Judge Anderson (!!!) zombie (!) story I wrote for their upcoming Judgement Days event. You can pick it up on September 21st. (And if you haven’t read the original Judgement Day story arc from 1992, definitely do that!) There might just be some more Tharg’s Future Shocks/Terror Tales from me in the offing as well…

And way back in June I had a story, “The Flayer,” in the latest Tales of Terror Quarterly from Zenescope! It’s an 18-pager horror (surprise) story I wrote based on a prompt they sent me, which was new process-wise, and lots of fun!
